Transcendence

Transcendence is about pure queer joy and excellence.

The intention of these pieces is to showcase transgender and gender-diverse individuals in their chosen craft. It was inspired by my own experiences as a non-binary artist and actor, as well as my partner’s experiences as a trans-masculine dancer and performer.

My approach to these pieces, as well as the bulk of my photography work, is with a strong focus on authenticity. Through my images I wish for the viewer to get a raw glimpse of who the subject is and their story.

Transgender, Gender-Diverse and Queer artists have always paved the way for art and will continue to do so. We have always existed and always will.
