Who we are

Hi, I’m Pav, the creator of Lavender Productions!

I am a 23-year-old queer artist based in Magandjin/North Brisbane. From a young age, I had been drawn to the arts starting with singing and growing to love acting and all the performing arts had to offer. After high school, I was largely involved in the community theatre space as an actor, singer and mentor, amongst other roles. This is where my creative expression began to flourish.

After stepping away from my active role in theatre, I was searching for a creative outlet and was reminded of my love for photography. Photography is at the intersection of so many of my passions that it felt like the next natural step in my journey. It helps me to bring my creative visions to life in ways I cannot do with my limited traditional art skills. I love the collaboration photography offers with other artists and a diverse range of people.

 In my career I would like to continue my passions in the performing arts world and combine them for my interest in editorial photography. Namely, stage shots for performing arts productions such as theatre, music and dance as well as promotional imagery in a studio environment. I would like to get to a stage where I can act as a mentor to help others reach their full potential. I want to create a space and culture that is safe for people of all walks of life to explore and express themselves however they need to.
